Things I’ll miss when they lift lockdown

Walking down the middle of the road, to keep two metres away, but really just because I can

My daily commute of seven steps from the kettle to the front room table

Meeting friends without getting off the sofa

Seeing children cycle safely on the street

Watching people who haven't ridden a bike in years, try it out, especially seeing how the gears work

Going on mute and playing online scrabble when meetings are dragging on

Nosily gawping at people walking down the street but getting away with it because wearing my headset means I am actually ‘working’

Asking my son if he fancies a walk and he thinks it’s a good idea

Not having to iron my clothes

Breaking off from emails to talk to the cat

Bellowing cheerily to delivery men whilst standing well back from the front door

To be continued - ideas welcome
